I am really a romantic at heart, with a bit of a sadistic streak, brutally honest (not sure if a good or bad thing but it is me), sensitive, creative, easy going. However there are times I am dark, cruel, insensitive, arrogant, and destructive. I am a man in good health, exercise regularly. I stay active by taking long walks, bicycle rides, swimming in the Gulf, walking the beach…
In my spare time I like to read sci-fi novels, Gene Wolf, early C.J. Cheyrrah, Edgar Allen Poe, biographies, history, and a good mystery thriller. Not much on TV these days like the food shows, CNN, ESPN, History Channel, Fringe, Rescue Me, Terriers, TLC. I am an avid sports fan (life long Cowboy fan) and enjoy attending live sporting events. I enjoy live music (blues, rock, and country, jazz). I like visiting museums, art galleries, farmers markets, flea markets (Time permitting). I don’t like the bar scene much unless out with friends (live music venues). I enjoy a night at a trendy restaurant as well as a home cooked meal with family and friends or a romantic candle light dinner for two. I enjoy fine wines (and not so fine), artisan brews; tequila oak aged at least five years. I have a keen interest in photography and making home movies.
I am a full-time professional chef, what does that mean… I work long hours and on days you are usually off. I “play” as hard as I work. My mind takes me to dark places at times but I just smile into the abyss… as I have a strong belief in myself and my abilities. Just a summary want to know more ask. I don’t have anything to hide.
